This frosty Arctic-themed play mat was wet felted by hand using Merino wool. Wet felting is an ancient technique for art and textile-making using friction, soap and water. Embellishments were then needle felted by hand. 

The mat features two cozy caves and is a perfect habitat for our Polar Animal Friends. It measures approximately 18 by 18 inches. 

Play mats are recommended for ages 3+ who do not mouth objects and should be used with supervision as they include small parts that could be a choking hazard if removed.
