The Mitten Story Peg Set

Follow along with this classic Ukrainian folk tale as a mole, rabbit, hedgehog, owl, badger, fox, bear and mouse all try to squeeze into a little boy’s lost mitten!

This adorable set comes with all 8 critters and a white mitten and is available in two size options. The 3 1/2 inch set is perfect for all ages as all pegs are large.

Our second option is pegs of varying sizes to represent the size differences in the animals, and pegs range from the smallest mouse of 1 11/16 inches to the large bear at 3 1/2 inches. This set is suitable for children who do not mouth objects (3+) as the smallest pieces are a choking hazard. 3 1/2 inch peg shape will vary slightly from the photo due to supplier availability. 

The hardwood pegs are hand painted using acrylic non toxic paints and finished with a non toxic varnish for durability. The felt mitten is hand stitched and large enough to fit all 8 animals to re-enact this fun story.
