Wet Felted Stream and Meadow Play Mat

This sweet little Waldorf-inspired play mat was wet felted by hand using Merino wool. Wet felting is an ancient technique for art and textile-making using friction, soap and water. Embellishments were then needle felted by hand.

Featuring a rushing river, cave, and grassy meadow filled with wild flowers and fungi, this mat is sure to inspire imaginative small world play and storytelling with anything from woodland creatures, fairies, gnomes, and farm animals.

Perfect for travel, this small mat can be rolled up and taken anywhere for play. It coordinates perfectly with many of our peg dolls, Forest Small World Play Set or any of our other small world play accessories.

This mat measures approximately 43cm by 33cm
